Alexander Getz, 84, Rock County Farm Home employe 25 years, died yesterday in Rock Haven where he resided five years. He located in Janesville 42 years ago.
Born in Victoria, Kan., July 18, 1882, he was the son of Andrew and Pfeiffer Getz.
He married Anna Rupp in Hays, Kan., Nov. 16, 1904. She died Sept. 27, 1964. He was a member of St. Mary's Church.
Surviving are two sons, Robert, Kansas City, Mo., and Harry, who is en route from Germany where he completed a government assignment; four daughters, Mrs. George Washer, Detriot, Mrs. Ivan McCardell, Battle Creek, Mich., Mrs. Floyd Mork and Mrs. John Cantwell.
