Son of David McKillen and Elizabeth Abbott McKillen. No stone, but there is a church record of his burial. David McKillen owned Old Ground, Range 01, Lot 05. Possible, even probable, other burials here include David's father, Samuel McKillen, born about 1774 in Co. Antrim, Ireland, died 21 Apr 1824 in Chateauguay, Quebec, Canada, and the following children of David McKillen and Elizabeth Abbott McKillen: John McKillen 5 Jul 1829-9 Mar 1842; William (twin of James) 6 Jul 1840-1842; and Elizabeth 20 Apr 1845-1 Mar 1846.
David McKillen and wife, Elizabeth Abbott McKillen are not buried here, having migrated west around 1864. Elizabeth died in 1877 and is buried in Fenelon Falls, Ontario. David died in 1887 and is buried in Lapeer County, Michigan.
