She was a 1945 graduate of Montgomery-Clinton High School.
Katie was employed by the former Montgomery Mills and was later employed by the Montgomery High School in the cafeteria.
She was a member of the St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church at Montgomery, PA. Katie enjoyed knitting and camping.
Katie is survived by four children, Ray and Deborah LaForme, Montgomery, PA; Jay and Jeanette LaForme, Allenwood, PA; Wayne E. and Ann LaForme, Montgomery, PA; Linda K. and Dale Grimm, Montgomery, PA and one sister, Helen Kreppeneck, Montgomery, PA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Katie was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
