"MRS. MABEL SHERMAN
"FAIRVIEW- Mrs. Mabel Sherman, 75, of near Fairview, died Saturday at 2:50 p.m. at Graham Hospital at Canton.
"The former Mabel Milton was born Sept. 20, 1896 at London Mills, and married Clarence Sherman at Fairview Feb 3., 1915.
"He survives with two daughters, Mrs. Nelda Abbadusky of near Ellisville, Mrs. Elizabeth Harker of Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Marie Anderson of Galesburg, and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
"She was a member of the Christian Church and the Friendly Neighbors Club.
"Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Root Funeral Home. Rev. Gordon Peabody will officiate. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery. Visitation will be today after 4 p.m. at the funeral home."
