Mrs. J. L. [should be A. W.] Clouse Stricken

Mrs. Pink Clouse, 87, formerly a resident of the Hope and Hartsville communities, died early Sunday morning at the home of her son, John L. Clouse of West Carrollton, Ohio.

Mrs. Clouse was born July 11, 1874, near Hartsville, the daughter of the late Vic Carr and Elizabeth Prather Carr. She attended Hartsville College. She was married to Dr. A. W. Clouse on August 9, 1897. Dr. Clouse died in 1939. Mrs. Clouse lived many years in Pennsylvania where her husband practiced medicine.

Surviving are three children, John L. Clouse of West Carrollton, Ohio, Mrs. Guy B. Walls of Brookfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Floyd Bean of West Liberty, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Earl Brooks of Argos; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Norman Funeral Home at Hope, conducted by the Rev. Earl Shay, pastor of Hope Moravian church. Burial will be at Hope Moravian cemetery. The casket will be open after 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home until time of service.
