Anna married Douwe Leonard "David" Dykstra on July 16, 1941 in Bigelow, Minnesota.

Anna and David are the parents of two daughters:

Anna Dykstra, Sibley, died Wednesday, March 27, at Country View Manor in Sibley. Services were Saturday, March 30, at Sibley Christian Reformed Church. Burial was at Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Anna Dykstra, daughter of Jacob and Rinscke (Knol) Wielenga, was born Sep, 1903, in Tjumaram, Friesland, Netherlands, where she lived until she was 8 years old. She moved with her family to the United State in 1911. She lived in Sioux County, where she attended a Christian school in Boyden and Perkins. She married David L. Dykstra of Bigelow, MN, on July 16, 1941, in Perkins. They lived near Bigelow, MN, where they farmed until 1944, when they retired and moved to Hull. They moved to Sibley in 1958. Mr. Dykstra died Dec. 17, 1976.

She became a resident of County View Manor in Sibley in June of 2000. She was a member of Sibley Christian Reformed Church. She was a lifelong member of the Christian Reformed deformations; she was an advocate for Christian education. She worked as a seamstress. She enjoyed crocheting and tatting. She crocheted a lot for her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Rheta and Charles De Boer of Hills, MN, and Judy and George A. Steen of Sibley; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David, L. Dykstra; and three brothers, Peter Wielenga, Jacob Wielenga and Ben Wielenga.
