  Troy, IL--Funeral services were held Thursday, May 7, at the Troy Methodist church for Mrs. Della Rood, 77, who died suddenly May 4 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Dunstan, 115 South Main street. The Rev. Carroll Morriss officiated and burial was in Friedens cemetery.
  Mrs. Rood was born Aug. 23, 1881 at Coulterville the daughter of William and Agnes Woodside Sinclair. She was married to Clinton E. Rood March 2, 1898 at Coulterville. They came to Troy about 46 years ago.
  Her husband preceded her in death June 7, 1947. One son and a daughter died in infancy and another daughter, Mrs. Norma Jackson died June 14, 1957.
  Surviving are three sons, Ancil of Troy, Hilon of Denver, Colo., and Earl of Troy, two daughters Mrs. William (Rena) Dunstan and Mrs. Samuel (Violet) Hall of Troy, 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
  The pallbearers were Bob and Bill Dunstan, Ray and Clinton Rood, Glen Hall and James Rood.
