Ulrich Klass/Class was born 24 Nov 1846 in Zainingen, Schwarzwald, Wuerttemberg, Germany. As a young boy he came to America with his parents, Johannes and Regina Schindler Class, and siblings, Matthaeus, Katharina, Anna Maria, Clemenz and Waldburga (she changed her name to Eliza) on the bark Aoelus. They landed in Baltimore, Maryland in 1852 and eventually made their way to Ohio, where Ulrich died at the age of 16, as he stopped by the barn to pick something out of his foot and was killed by a horse. He is buried in the Sherman Church Cemetery, Bethlehem Township, Starke County, Ohio.
