Names of Persons Who Have Joined the Great Majority
At the residence of J. I. S. Hunt, her son-in-law, 609 Eigth avenue, Juniata, Mrs. Susannah Dougherty died at 8.05 o'clock yesterday evening. She was 81 years of age in February last, and her death was due in part to her advanced years. Several weeks ago she fell and fractured her left leg at the hip, and this hastened her passing away. She was the widow of Hugh Dougherty, who died some six years ago, and was born in this county. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and at the time of her death belonged to the Juniata congregation. One son, and two daughters survive - Elisha V. Daugherty, of Elizabeth Furnace; Mrs. Linne M. Hunt and Mrs. Clara M. Kemberling, of Juniata borough. The funeral announcement will be made later.
