Services Set For Tuesday

Services for James Edgar Adams, 79, of 3757
Dumont, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the
Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home chapel with burial
in Sunset memorial Gardens.

Adams died Sunday in Medical Center Hospital
following an illness. He was born Aug 18,1896
in Roberson County and moved to Odessa in
1943 from San Angelo.

He was a member of the Central Baptist Church,
a World War I Army veteran and a member of the
Masonic Lodge. He married Mary Sollock on March
27, 1920 in Dallas. He was a retired businessman.

Survivors include his wife, of the home. a daughter,
Mrs. Jimmie Marie Pettigrew of El Paso; a sister,
Stella Maxwell of Lakewood, Calif; and four grand-
children.

(Roberson County in obit misspelled; it is spelled Robertson)
