Born to Vurnel Fredrick Moore and Lucy Leona Hardee. She was fourth of seven children having 2 brothers and four sisters. She also had one half-brother and three half-sisters from her mothers previous marriages.

She died at fourteen months of age from post-measles encephalitis.

Her death certificate states that she was buried in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, in Lucy, Shelby, Tennessee, but I was unable to find her name among the internments. This fact was also stated to me by her sister, Shirley Mae Bacon. As the family was poor, there most likely was no monument erected, so the exact location of her grave is unknown, as the family moved to Oklahoma and there was no one left to care for it. Her burial was taken care of by the National Funeral Home in Lucy, Shelby, Tennessee. I tried to locate the funeral home, but was told it no longer exists. It calls for further investigation.
