Ora Murrel Alderson, 96 of Fayetteville passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at Walnut Grove Nursing Center in Springdale. She was born December 6, 1917 in Elkins to Arden and Belva Lawson. She was married to Carl Alderson for 62 years. She enjoyed growing flowers and making quilts for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, two sisters and a great grandson.Survivors include four sons, Wade Alderson and wife Joella, Von Alderson and wife Mary, Glendon Alderson and wife Shirley all of of Fayetteville and Johnny Alderson and wife Louise of Elkins; two daughters, Anna Ruth Alderson of Fayetteville and Ruby A. Reed and husband Bill of Winslow; two sisters, Marjore Hill of Elkins and Marthel Hensley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Beard's Funeral Chapel from 5-7 PM. A funeral service will be held at Baldwin Church of Christ on Thursday at 10 AM with Mr. Bobby Dockery officiating. Burial will be at Wesley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Reed, Jay Alderson, Carl Alderson, Greg Alderson, Rodney Alderson and Aaron Alderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Alderson, Floyd Alderson, Shannon Gabbard, Michael Pearson, Orry Alderson, Zach Alderson and Dustin Alderson.
