Mrs. Martha Estella Knutter, 83, of Polo, Mo., died Monday at 4:15 a.m. at the Elliott rest home at Hamilton, following a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 14, 1881, the daughter of Hugh Bailey and Louisa Meeker Bailey. Mrs. Knutter had made he home for several years with a daughter, Mrs. Roy Zeikle and Mr. Zeikle west of Polo. She was married to Charles Knutter who preceded her in death. The survivors include two daughters, the afore mentioned Mrs. Zeikle of Polo, and Mrs. Maxine Locke of Maryville; and one son, Elmer Knutter of Healdton, Okla. Mrs. Melissa Zeikle of Polo is a sister-in-law. The body was moved from the Alpaugh-Cowley funeral home in Polo on Tuesday to the Buchanan funeral home in Henryetta, Okla., where memorial services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Henryetta cemetery.
