Mrs. Jimmie (Knutter) Zeikle, 83, of Polo, Mo., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 5, 2005, at her home.
Mrs. Zeikle was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Henryetta, Okla., to Charles and Martha Bailey Knutter.
She was a member of Prairie Ridge Christian Union Church, Polo, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Jimmie was a homemaker her entire married life, as well as an Avon representative in the Hamilton and Kingston, Mo. areas for many years.
She was married to Roy Zeikle on Feb. 14, 1942, who preceded her in death on June 7, 2003.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers and a sister.
Roy and Jimmie reared four sons, Hubert of Polo; Charles and Judy of Independence, Mo.; Aaron and Louise of Topeka, Kan.; and Ralph and Bonnie of Polo.
Other survivors include nine grandchildren, Tony Zeikle, and wife, Kirsten; Sarah Bledsoe, and husband, Seth; Meghan Zeikle; Philip Zeikle; Jennifer Myer, and husband, Chris; Melissa Tankersley, and husband, Monty; Rebekah Zeikle; Andrew Zeikle and Daniel Zeikle; three great grandchildren, Caleb and Alison Zeikle, and Leif Myer; a step great-granddaughter, Cassandra Tankersley; a niece, Phyllis Zeikle; and a nephew, Elmer Knutter.
