Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for Agnes Babin Berthelot, 91, who passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Survivors include her daughters, Vivian Melancon and her husband, Ashley of Lafayette and Velma Prosper of St. Martinville; her son, Vernon Berthelot and his wife, Inez of St. Martinville; her brother, Jules Babin of Breaux Bridge; her grandchildren, Craig Latiolais and his wife, Michelle, Barry Melancon and his wife Gwen, Randy Melancon, Keri Delhomme and her husband, Jake, Casey Berthelot, Callie Bonin and her husband, Jude, and Crissy Berthelot; and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Camille Berthelot; her parents, Cleo and Edmae Champagne Babin; her sons-in law, Alden Latiolais and Ben Prosper; her sisters, Sedonia and Rita Babin; and her brothers, Leo, Leroy, Raoul, Numa, Antoine, Junior, Lovis and Lynn Babin.
