Born in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of John Frederick and Emma Jane Shaffer Boward.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Hagerstown.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Doris Truitt, Chambersburg, Pa; and Mrs. Jane Ebberts, Pasadena, Md; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services Wednesday at 2 pm at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel by the Rev H L Fulk. Burial in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
