Charlotte Garrison Perry, 86, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014. Memorial service: 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Chapel.

A private interment will be held at Perry Ranch in Glencoe, N.M., at a later date. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association .

Charlotte was born on Dec. 21, 1927, in Fort Worth. She attended Paschal High School and went on to graduate from TCU with a degree in education. While attending TCU, she met the love of her life, Don, and they were married on Feb. 7, 1953. Charlotte taught for Fort Worth ISD. She and Don moved to Flagstaff, Ariz., and then on to Albuquerque, N.M., for 21 years. They returned to Texas in 1980. Charlotte was a loving mother, wife and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burres and Sarah Chestnut Garrison; brothers, David O. Garrison and William E. Garrison; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Clark Perry.

Survivors: Husband, Don Perry; sons, Don Perry Jr. and Greg Perry and wife, Cristi; daughters, Gail Ackerman and husband, David, and Karen Wessler and husband, Robert; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
