Arthur O. Westrum, 92, of Bemidji, MN died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Neilson Place, Bemidji.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring in Evergreen Cemetery, Bemidji.

Arthur Ole Westrum was born July 31, 1921 in Clearbrook, MN to Oliver and Hilma (Johnson) Westrum. He moved to Bemidji in the 1950's.

Art met his life time partner, Louella Beck in 1953. Art worked 30 plus years at the Bemidji Town and Country Club. He loved the outdoors, working with gardening, berry picking and cutting firewood. Deer hunting was very important to him.

He is survived by his son, Gary (Laurie) Beck; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda (Larry) Strowbridge of Becida and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Sukert, Lila Eickstadt, Viola Nyland and Ardis Hill; brothers, Harvey Westrum, David Westrum and Clayton Westrum.
