Early Life: Lynn was born March 21, 1928, to Joseph and Erma Petersen in Provo, Utah. He attended BYU Academy, Farrer Jr, High and graduated from Provo High School in 1946. He started his lifelong career at Geneva Steel during his senior year of high school.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: While riding with the Lucky 13 motorcycle club, he met the love of his life, LoRaine Faddis, and were married September 1, 1948. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they had four children during their 63 wonderful years of marriage. Lynn Petersen, of Orem, Utah, joined his eternal sweetheart in Heaven on Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was 86 years old.
Survived By: Four children: Ron, Jennean Wright (Brent) Patricia and Brent (Paula); 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: His beautiful bride, LoRaine; his son, Ron; his parents; his granddaughter, Jennifer; his three brothers: Joe, Rex and Paul; his half brother, Parleyl and his half sister, Dorothy.
