MARIE TICER CHAMBERS, 74, of Horseshoe Lake, Ark., formerly of Memphis, homemaker, died of cancer Tuesday at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in West Memphis with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown has charge. She was a communicant at St. Mary Catholic Mission at Horseshoe Lake, and a member of the Surf Club Ladies Auxiliary, where she was a former board member and director. She was also a member of the Horseshoe Lake Lioness Club, Ladies Bunco Club and Ladies Dixie Darlings Bowling Team of West Memphis. Mrs. Chambers , the wife of Carl W. Chambers , also leaves a daughter, Karla Chambers Fann; a son, Ronald M. Chambers , and a sister, Shirley Mae Ticer, all of Horseshoe Lake; a brother, Albert 'Ike' Ticer of Munford , Tenn., nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Michael's Catholic Church, St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Mission or the charity of the donor's choice.
