Mrs. Agnes R. Creech, 74, died Mar. 4, 1996. The funeral was held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Christie officiated. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Creech, a native of Keysville, had lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, where she was the secretary of the preschool department for 4 and 5 year-olds. Survivors include sons, James R. Creech, Augusta, and Donald O. Creech, Burlington, NC.; brother, James R. Rowland, Langley; sister, Lorene R. Proto, Gainesville; and 2 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Danny Schultze, Doy Gay, Tom Gay, Michael Annis, Andre Miller and Steve Mitchell. Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Support Group of the Medical College of Georgia.
