She was a homemaker and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, where she was the secretary of the preschool department for 4 and 5 year-olds. Survivors include sons, James R. Creech, Augusta, and Donald O. Creech, Burlington, NC.; brother, James R. Rowland, Langley; sister, Lorene R. Proto, Gainesville; and 2 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Danny Schultze, Doy Gay, Tom Gay, Michael Annis, Andre Miller and Steve Mitchell. Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Support Group of the Medical College of Georgia.
