Friday, July 23,1976, at his home
of an apparent heart attack.
Born Aug. 14, 1897, he was the
son of John B. and Mary Kathern
Kessen. He was married May 11,
1957, to Florence Klooz, who
survives.
He was retired from Monon
Shops, Lafayette, and the
Lafayette Court House and was a
member of the St. Lawrence
Church, Lafayette, and the Old
Rails.
Surviving with his wife are two
step-daughters, Mrs. Theresa
Siler and Mrs. May Parson, both
of Lafayette; two step-sons,
Charles of Columbus and Bernard
of Lebanon one brother,
Edward Kessen of Cutler; two
sisters, Mrs. Kathern Zahn and
Mrs. Theresa Potts, both of
Lafayette; 26 step-grandchildren
and five step-greatgrandchildren.
Services were Monday at St.
Joseph Catholic Church, Delphi,
with the Rev. Ambrose Ziegler
officiating. Burial was in the St.
Boniface Cemetery, Lafayette.
Jackson Funeral Home, Delphi,
was in charge of arrangement.
