"Helen P. Chesebro, who resided at 216 Euclid Ave., and was born on July 20, 1902, died peacefully at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center on Jan. 7, 2003. Helen was one of six children of Henry Carl Prange and Auusta Bodenstein Prange. Her husband, Robert E. Chesebro Sr., son of Herbert and Jennie Rummele Chesebro, preceded her in death in October 1992. They were united in marriage on March 28, 1936. A brother, H. Carl Prange and three sisters, Louise Prange, Wilma Prange and Norma Prange Gunther preceded her in death. A sister, Mary Prange Conrad who lives with her daughter, Enka in York, Maine survives her along with two sons, Robert E. Chesebro Jr. (Katherine Roenitz Chesebro) of Sheboygan and Dr. James H. Chesebro (Christine M. Chesebro) of Jacksonville, Fla. Additionally six grandchildren survive her. Helen's grandchildren are Margaret M. Chesebro of Minneapolis, Minn., Christopher R. Chesebro of Somerville, Mass., Karin C. Field (Anthony) of Toronto, Canada, Jonathon M. J. Chesebro of Newton, Mass., David W. Chesebro of Northfield, Minn., and William R. Chesebro of Jacksonville. Also surviving Helen are the following nephews and nieces: Mr. Henry C. Prange of Naples, Fla., Mr. John H. Gunther of Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Robert Masse (Ruth)( of Appleton and Mrs. Edward Krawitt (Laura) of Burlington, Vermont. Another nephew, William H. Gunther preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 2002. William Gunther's four children, Peter C. Gunther, Lisa A. Gunther, Barbara J. Gunther and Mrs. Anne Gunther were especially close to Helen ... Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 at First United Lutheran Church. The Rev. Gail S. Hermodson, pastor of First United, will officiate.
