Laurent Adam Thibodeaux, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at First Baptist Church of Duson for Laurent Adam Thibodeaux, Sr., 67 who died Monday, June 23, 2003 at his residence.
Interment will be held in Duson Cemetery.
The Rev. Felix Sellers, pastor of First Baptist Church of Duson, will conduct the funeral services.
Mr. Thibodeaux, the son of the late Edgar Thibodeaux and the former Julia Richard, was a native of Church Point and a resident of Lafayette.
He was a great and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and brother-in=-law who will be sadly missed by all.
Survivors include his wife, Delta Thibodeaux, of Lafayette; six children, Laurent Adam Thibodeaux, Jr. and his wife Cindy, of Breaux Bridge, Marie Prejean and her husband, Lee, of Vatican, Randy Paul Thibodeaux and his wife, Marie, of Duson, Kathy Ann Schexnayder and her husband, Clayton, of Parks and Hubert Dale Thibodeaux and his wife, Shannon, of Scott; six sisters, Rita Prejean, of Church Point, Eve Miller, of Opelousas, Patsy Baker, of Crowley, Eva Rose Gary, of Duson, Norma Jane Lantier, of Duson, and Sadie Savoy, of Ossun; two brothers, Patrick Thibodeaux, of Lafayette and Joe Thibodeaux, of Mire, 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Allen Dale Thibodeaux; one sister, Delphine Leger and one brother, Leroy Thibodeaux.
Visitation was observed on Monday (June 23, 2003) at the First Baptist Church of Duson from 4 p.m. and continue until the time of services on Tuesday (June 24, 2003).
Pallbearers will include Glenn Prejean, Larry Thibodeaux, D.J. Schexnayder, Justin Schexnayder, Randy Thibodeaux, and Hubert Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will include Jr. Thibodeaux, Lee Prejean, Darren Schexnayder, Clayton Schexnayder, Jacob Schexnayder, and Russell Thibodeaux.
