Topeka State Journal, July 16, 1909, page 6:
Mrs. Herbert H. Cartlidge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Skinner, died last evening after a lingering illness of over a year. The funeral will be held from the residence of her parents, 215 Monroe street, at 10 o'clock Saturday morning.
