CULBERTSON -- Jacob Brecht died Friday evening at the age of 57. He was born August 23, 1908 in Frank, Russia, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Brecht. He came to Culbertson with his parents at the age of four. He was married to Pauline Huff September 23, 1928, and they had made their home at Culbertson.
He is survived by his widow; two sons, Alan, Kearney; Kenneth, Holdrege; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Wilson, Mrs. Lila Cook, both of Culbertson; ten grandchildren; four brothers, Adam of Portland, Oregon; Casper and Sam of Denver; Reynold of Beatrice; and a sister, Mrs. Roland Coombs, Inglewood, California.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the E.U.B. Church with the Rev. Eldo Kirkus officiating. Interment was in the Culbertson Cemetery under the direction of the Herrmann Funeral Chapel, Culbertson.
