Waugh-- At his home at the new coal shaft near Cherokee, Kansas, from heart failure, on Nov. 9th, 1886, Mr. Waugh, aged about 50 years.
He had been very sick with flux but had so far recovered as to be able to sit up and was considered convalescent. His heart failed to act and in an instant and without warning he was dead. The burial took place in the Cherokee cemetery Wednesday afternoon.
