ORIN POOLER, 71, died at 2 p. m. Friday at the Barnes Memorial Hospital, Susquehanna, Pa., after a short illness. A retired resident of Lanesboro. Pa. for the last six years, he was a locomotive engineer for the Pierre Marquette Railroad for 45 years. Prior to his retirement he lived in Detroit. Mich.
He was a member of the Detroit Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and the Belvidere Lodge 316, Odd Fellows, of Niagara Falls. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Norm Alexander of Lanesboro and Mrs. Blanche Curtis of Bainbridge; two brothers, Henry A. and Raymond S. Pooler, both of Lanesboro; several nieces and nephews. The body was moved to the Perrine Funeral Chapel, Main Street. Susquehanna, Pa., where friends may call. Odd Fellow services will be held Sunday at 8 p. m. at the chapel. Burial will be in the Lanesboro Cemetery.
