Bertha Goodmiller was born Feb. 26, 1883 in Pleasant Valley township, daughter of Franklin P. and Mary Eveline (Hummel) Goodmiller. She married William Endress Dec. 24, 1902.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. George (Florence) Haug of Elizabeth, Mrs. Leo (Frances) Morrow of Freeport, and Mrs. Harlan (Mary) Downs of Lanark; four sons, Roy at home, Franklin and William of Freeport, and Lyle of Elizabeth; nine grandchildren, and a brother, Roy Goodmiller of Chicago, Il. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Lester Haug.
Funeral services for Mrs. Endress were held at 1:30pm Friday in the Endress home eight miles southwest of Stockton in Derinda township. Burial was in the family lot in Savanna Cemetery, Savanna, IL. Pallbearers were her neighbors, Jesse Evans, Fred Steffes, Elmer Carroll, Raymond Eden, Delmar Aurand, and Lloyd Trude.
