Funeral services for Susie Bell Nelson were conducted Tuesday morning at the Holland and Bonine chapel. Interment was in Highland cemetery.
Mrs. Nelson was born in Illinois, Dec. 26, 1909. She came with her parents to this area in 1916, her parents homesteading north of Havre. They moved shortly into Havre where Mrs. Nelson attended school. She was married to Chester Nelson in Havre, March 29, 1927.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Juanita) Vandeberg, Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Jim (Aileen) Sather, Havre; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Christianson, Hungry Horse; Mrs. Harry (Juanita) Gunstone, Helena; Mrs. Beatrice Foekle, Lincoln, Ga.; and a brother, James Clayborn, Great Falls. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
