VENETA — Emma Mildred Brock of Veneta died March 1 of age-related causes at age 85. A private celebration of life is planned.

She was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Frankfort, Ind., to Nolan and Gladys Jones Thatcher. She married Clifford Brock on Dec. 1, 1943, in Lebanon, Ind.

She graduated from Lebanon High School. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Clifford of Damascus, Michael of Olympia, and Stephen of Eugene; a brother, Keith Thatcher of Gardiner; a sister, Marge Thatcher of Lebanon, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements by Sunset Hills Cemetery, Funeral Home and Crematorium in Eugene.
