She was born in the town of Eden, Jun 9, 1873, to Napolon and Emily (Stone) Hinds.
On April 28, 1896, she married Albert E. Ruggles of Lyndonville, and most of her married life has been spent here.
She was keenly interested in the affairs of the Community and the welfare of her church. She organized a sewing group which did a lot of kindly and helpful things, from their efforts, and she will be missed by her many friends. She was a member of Esther Chapter No. 20, Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Marjorie R. George of Brattleboro, a son Brig. Gen John F. Ruggles, now stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, a brother Edward Hinds of Johnson, a sister Lottie H. Ruggles of St. Johnsbury, a brother Burt Hinds of Lyndonville, 4 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
