Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wagner, farm residents of the Culbertson community, were pleasantly surprised for their 40th wedding anniversary during the Christmas holidays by the arrival of all of their children and families for a family reunion. This was the first time the entire family had been at home for Christmas in 17 years.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Wagner came from Bakersfield, California where he is director of Christian education at the First Methodist church; Dr. and Mrs. George Wagner and three children came from Columbia, Missouri where he is engaged in research in microbiology and teaches in the soil department of the University of Missouri; and Paul Wagner, the youngest son and a teacher in the Burlingame, California elementary public schools, came from San Mateo, California. The couple's only daughter, Mrs. George Butherus, resides with her husband and three daughters on a farm one-half mile east of Culbertson.

On Christmas day, the entire family had dinner at the parental Wagner home in observance of the Wagners' 40th wedding anniversary. The table centerpiece was a large, three-tier decorated anniversary cake. Other relatives called during the afternoon to congratulate the couple.
