Beverly Lucille Johnston Ainsworth age 84 of Snyder, TX, died Wednesday, June 08, 2011 at the Sweetwater Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. Ainsworth will be at 2PM Friday at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

Mrs. Ainsworth was born June 04, 1927 to the late John Harrison Johnston and Myrtle Elgene Baze Johnston. She was married to Pat Ainsworth on January 22, 1949 in Sweetwater. She was a lifelong resident of Scurry County and served as the Scurry County Clerk for twenty-two years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Snyder.

Survivors include:
Her husband, Pat of the home.

3 daughters and sons-in-law:
Marsha A. Cribbs and Barry of Snyder
Patsy A. Childress and Lee Roy of Midland
Roxanna A. Jones and Fred of Abilene

2 Sisters:
Marilyn Jo Bradley, Sour Lake Tx
Frances Hughes, Houston, Tx

a brother:
Dale Johnston, of Snyder

4 grandsons:
Charles Cribbs, Cody Cribbs and wife Penny, Max Childress and wife Kiva, Aaron Childress and wife Melanie

2 granddaughters:
Stephanie Hatfield and Jennifer Jones.

9 Great Grandchildren:
Caitlyn, Lillie, Kaitlyn, Cason and Cash Cribbs
Ryann Rosas and Cameron Childress
Zoe and Kyli Childress.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded iun death by 3 brothers: John Carl Portis, Royce Johnston and Tommy Johnston; 3 sisters: Elgene Beane, LaRuth Jordan and Sarah McCullough.


Visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM Thursday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
