Erasmo Guerra

Erasmo was born in Karnes County, Texas. He was a farmer's son and grandson.

Erasmo was preceded in death by his: infant son, Baltazar; parents, Eutimio and Eufracia Guerra; brother, sister-in-law, and niece: Ricardo, Guadalupe, and Diana (1960-1962); nephew, Jesus Valenzuela (1950-1974); nephew, Carlos "Charles" Garcia (1959-1996); brothers, Aurelio and Nicolas Guerra.

He was survived by his: wife, Sara; his children; sisters, Mrs. Odelia Garcia and her family of Rosedale, Mississippi; and Carolina Guerra and her family of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers' families (many nieces and nephews); and extended family.

FORT WORTH - Erasmo Guerra, 84, a landscaper, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at a local hospital.

Funeral service: noon Friday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Rosary: 7 p.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel

Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Sara Guerra; sons, Roy Guerra of Corpus Christi, Ruben Gonzales, Ray Guerra and Erasmo Guerra Jr., all of Fort Worth; daughters, Marta Figueroa of Fort Worth, Benita Ferris of Brady and Modesta Cedillo, Olga Guerra, and Eliasar Guerra, all of Fort Worth; sisters, Carolina Valenzuela and Odelia Garcia and her family of Mississippi; 30 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
