HEBRON — Ann L. Winter, 75, of Hebron, died Saturday, Jan. 6. 2001, at Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. She was born Nov. 16, 1925, in Lawrence, to John and Violet (Scott) Lee. She married Albert L. Winter Sr. on June 13, 1957, in Chicago. He died Aug. 5. 1999. She was an inspector for Woodstock Die Cast in Woodstock for 17 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 922 in Woodstock. She was a member of the Hebron United Methodist Church in Hebron and was active in the Dorcas Circle of the church. She was also a member of the Belvidere Moose Lodge 1052.

Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Struck of Webb City, Mo., Sally Archambeault of Huntley and Laurie Freeman of Hebron; four sons, Marty (Debbie) Struck of Johnsburg, Tom Struck of Tucson, Ariz., Steve (Joan) Winter of Hebron and Kevin "Chick" Winter of Hebron; a stepson, Larry Winters of St. Cloud, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Margaret (Stan) Winchester of Edinburg, Texas, and Linn Lee of Woodstock; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Struck; three sisters, Agnes Hansman, Florence Scott and Grace Leja; and two brothers, John and Alex "Shorty" Lee.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home, 9625 Main St., Hebron. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at Hebron United Methodist Church in Hebron, with the Rev. Scott McClellan officiating. Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock.
