Aloma Marler was born to Lionel Lewis Jimeson and Pauline Bartlett (Kennedy) Jimeson in King City, California on November 22, 1941 and departed this life in Lawton, Oklahoma on July 11, 2014 at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 19 days.

Aloma spent most of her childhood in Lone Wolf, OK where she attended school. On July 2, 1960 she married the love of her life, Johnnie Marler. The couple had two children, Curtis and Mary. Her two most favorite things in life were being a mother and a grandmother. A member of the First Baptist Church in Granite, OK, she loved helping and being a part of her church family. Aloma was known for excelling in everything she did. She was a woman of substance, courage, strength, and she was nurturer. Her passion was for God and her family. She lived a full happy life and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lionel and Pauline Jimeson; and her son, Melvin Curtis Marler; two brothers, Lionel Dewayne Jimeson and Joseph Lewis Jimeson; a sister, Billie Joan Monroe; and a great nephew Baby Julian.

Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Marler of the home; a daughter, Mary Dominiak and husband David of Elk City, OK; a brother Vance Jimeson and wife Callie of Granite, OK; two sisters, Anita Sirmons and husband Velton of Granite, OK, Gail McCafferty and husband Lewis of Granite, OK; 6 grandchildren, Ty Burnett and wife Nikki of Lone Wolf, OK; Scarlett Frank and husband Jared of Lone Wolf, OK; Ashley Kelly and husband Michael of Lone Wolf, OK; Dixie Peterson and husband Billy of Mangum, OK; Tara Giron and husband Dallas Sanders of Granite, OK; Ariana Marler of Sante Fe, NM, Lindsay Smith of Dallas, TX, David Dominiak of Altus, OK, Steven Butler of Albuquerque, NM; 14 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
