Mary Ellen, wife of Valentine Ohlinger, died Saturday at 12:05 a.m. of internal troubles at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Matilda A. Stoudt, 420 South 11th street. She was aged 55 years, five months and 22 days. The deceased was in ill health for the past two years.
She was born in Reading, her maiden name being Mary Ellen Angstadt. She was a member of St. Mary Lutheran church and the Loyal Daughters of Victory.
She is survived by her husband and these children: Matilda A., with whom she resided; Mona, wife of Henry H. Shoemaker; Florence, wife of George Linderman; Eva, wife of Harrison Beears, and six grandchildren, all of this city.
Also these brothers and sisters: Emma, widow of John Ralston, of Philadelphia; Amelia, wife of Peter Edris, of Myerstown; Kate, widow of David Redcay, Sinking Spring; Hannah, widow of Harry King, of Reading: David, of Black Bear: George, of Amityville; Harry, of Kutztown; Robert and Frank of Reading.
