Eddie Vickers was the son of James Albert Vickers & Clara Vera Danford. He married Myrtle Worthy, daughter of Joseph Worthy & Emma Dukes, abt 1924, Clay Co., AL.

William E. VIckers on Tuesday, May 25, 1982 at 5:40 a.m. Husband of Myrtle Worthy Vickers. Father of Mrs. Billie Jean McMichael, Mrs. Kathleen McDaniel, Mrs. Evelyn Resandez, Kenneth M. Vickers,Mrs. Louise Denham, Paul J. Vickers, and Guinn D. Vickers. Also survived by 30 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Age 75 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Louisiania Transit Company, and Amalgated Transit Union Local 1535 are invited to attend the funeral services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 Ponchartrian Blvs. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Thursday, May 27, 1982 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation on Wednesday, May 26, 1982 from 6 until 11 p.m. and on Thursday, May 27, 1982 from 9 a.m. till Service time.
