Funeral for Mabel C. Sather will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. She died at age 90 Tuesday in a Vancouver nursing home.

Mrs. Sather was born in Mayville, N.D., and had lived in Vancouver since 1949. She owned and operated a mercantile storein North Dakota with her husband before moving to Vancouver.

She was a member of Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Sather was active in various Nazarene Church organizations in Vancouver and North Dakota, including and teaching Sunday school, serving on the church board and as president of the church missionary society.

Surviving Mrs. Sather are her son, Cameron of Vancouver; daughters, Ardis Mae Bartole of Vancouver and Ora Bone of West Covina, Calif.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Oregonian, Friday, October 18, 1985
