On Sunday, Sept. 14, 1890, at her home at this place, Mrs. Fannie Campbell, wife of F.M. Campbell, former Sheriff of the county, now of the firm of Jarboe & Campbell. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Saunders at the Presbyterian Church, at this place, interment at the Jensonton burying ground on Monday. The deceased was a lady of many noble traits of character, loving wife and mother, a true christian and a firm and loyal friend, numbering all her acquaintances as friends. Her last illness, typhoid fever, was of several weeks duration and hopes for her recovery were strongly entertained until the day previous to the sad end. She died with her family of a devoted husband and eight loving children gathered around her bedside. By her demise our community loses one of her most honored and beloved members. Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereaved family and the sorrowing relatives.
