From her death certificate she died 6 March 1913 in Meriden, CT of apoplexy. She was a widow and her husband had been William Frobel. Her date of birth was 7 December 1826 in Germany. Father was Jacob Toschski and mother unknown. The information was filed by Fred Frobel.

Meriden Morning Record, Friday March 7, 1913.

"Mrs. William Frobel of Steben Street, aged eighty-six years, died at her home Thursday morning at 7:45. Death was caused by a paralytic shock. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o'clock at the German Immanuel Lutheran church, Rev. Paul Kirch
officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove. Friends are requested to omit flowers.

Mrs. Frobel was born at Wigot, Germany, and came to Meriden in 1874, residing ever since. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Albert Da(e)nekind(t) and Mrs. Max Strobel, and four sons, Fred, August, Gustave and William of Denver, Colorado. She also leaves forty-six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all living in Meriden."

"Frobel. The funeral of Mrs. Caroline Frobel was held yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home on Steuben street and at 2 o'clock at the German Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rev Paul A. Kirsch officiating. Interment was in Walnut Grove cemetery.The bearers were Harold Frobel, Fred Strobel, Otto Strobel, Emil Frobel, Robert Frobel and Albert Danekind." -per Barbara Garrison
