Joseph A. Gauthier
Southbridge - Joseph A. Gauthier, 76, formerly of Southbridge, died yesterday in Holyoke Soldiers' Home in Holyoke.
He was born in Southbridge, son a Amable and Marguerite (Livernois) Gauthier, and lived here most of his life.
He was a World War I Veteran. He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Emelina Plouffe of Worcester, (unable to read), Southbridge, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday from the Bernard R. Guertin Funeral Home, with a High Mass at 9 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in the New Notre Dame Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
