Mrs. Osterday died at 11:40 p. m. Friday at the St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette. She had been ill several months and a patient at the hospital since May 19.
She was born near Dayton, Feb. 2, 1881, the daughter of Washington and Susan (Halleck) Brand, and married Fred J. Osterday March 26, 1905. Mrs. Osterday had lived in and around Mulberry all her life.
The deceased was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, and was a charter member of both O. E. S. No. 459 and the Needle Art circle, Mulberry.
Surviving besides the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Troxel of Gary; a grandson and a granddaughter.
