Montgomery K. "Monty" Chesebro, was born on July 17, 1920 in Monroe, son of Kay and Bernice (Binger) Chesebro. Montgomery graduated from Monticello High School. Monty and Dorothy Ladwig were married on July 1, 1944 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Monroe, Wisconsin. Monty and Dorothy worked side by side on the Chesebro Family Farm, rural Monticello. They also owned and operated Chesebro Landscaping for many years. He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, Green County Shrine Club, Zor Shrine, 50-year member of the Masons, Monroe Lions Club, Green County Ag Chest, Rock River Thresheree. Montgomery K. "Monty" Chesebro, age 93, of rural

Monticello, died on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at New

Glarus Home. He was born on July 17, 1920 in Monroe, son of

Kay and Bernice (Binger) Chesebro. Montgomery graduated

from Monticello High School.

Monty and Dorothy Ladwig were married on July 1, 1944 at

the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Monroe, Wisconsin.

Monty and Dorothy worked side by side on the Chesebro

Family Farm, rural Monticello. They also owned and operated

Chesebro Landscaping for many years.

He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, Green

County Shrine Club, Zor Shrine, 50-year member of the

Masons, Monroe Lions Club, Green County Ag Chest, Rock

River Thresheree. Monty and Dorothy were the first family to host the Green County

Breakfast on the Farm.

He is survived by his daughters: Nancy (Robert) Faith of Monroe, Jan (Sylvan) Olson of

Monticello; grandchildren: James (Terry) Faith, Catherine (John) Kehoe, Mark (Dana) Olson,

Jill (Paul) Berg; great-grandchildren: Joel and Natalie Faith, Casey and Dana Kehoe; Molly,

Heidi, Annie and Henry Olson; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased in death by his parents, wife, Dorothy, and brother, Mereland.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Washington Reformation

Church, rural Monticello with Rev. Troy Loether officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood
