Mrs. Walter Werner nee Emma Pauline Fischer of Comfort passed away on Wednesday, July 2nd at the age of 96 years.
Emma Pauline Fischer was born on December 21, 1917 in Blanco County, Texas to Herman and Emma Jonas Fischer.
She married Water Werner in February of 1935, Kendalia, Texas
Mrs. Emma Werner is survived by two sons: Melvin Werner of Comfort; Raymond Werner of Conroe; 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, 14 Great Great Grandchildren
Emma is preceded in death by parents, husband, Grandson: Tommy Dean Werner, Daughter in law: Von Blevins Werner, Son: Allen Werner, two brothers, four sisters: Edgar, Hilda, Alvin Regina Fischer, Thekla Wengenroth, Norma Krause.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Emma Werner will be held in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Comfort with the Rev. Shelly Summont officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Blanco Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be given in her memory to the Golden Age Center, Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice.
