Juanita C. Lee, 75, of Elida, formerly of Spencerville, died at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday at her residence.

She was born June 17, 1928, in Amanda Township, Allen County, to Lester L. and Blanche C. (Diltz) Bowers.

On Aug. 7, 1946, she married Paul M. Lee, who died July 1, 1971.

Survivors include seven sons, Mike (Janet) Lee of Elida, Phil (Deb) Lee of Lima, Dave (Connie) Lee, Jeff (Nancy) Lee and Mark (Theresa) Lee of Spencerville and Steve Lee and Doug (Vickie) Lee of Delphos; three daughters, Kathy (Jim) Caudill of Hendersonville, Tenn., Tammy (John) Flanagan of Spencerville and Joan (Glenn) Wasser of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Olive Wulfhorst of Delphos, Clara (Gail) Moorman of Dayton and Dorothy Owens of Elida; a brother, Gail Bowers of Spencerville; 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, David Bowers; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lee had worked in residential Real Estate sales and had been a bookkeeper for The Journal News in Spencerville. She was a lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church, where she had served as lay speaker and had served Channel 44 TV network on its prayer line and in prison ministries. She was a 1946 graduate of Spencerville High School and had studied Real Estate sales.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, Pastors Ron Lee and Neal Whitney officiating. Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery, northeast of Spencerville.

Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, Channel 44 TV network or St. Rita?s Hospice.
