Dian Hollingshead - sister, aunt, friend-passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at her home in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 20, 1939, the first child of Keith and Shirley Hollingshead. Her childhood and youth were spent in Minersville, Utah. She loved to play softball and tap dance and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dian graduated from Beaver High School and later earned an associates degree in paralegal work. Dian married Kay Cummings, later divorced; and Ron Morris, later divorced. Dian was skilled in bookkeeping and office management; most recently employed by Horizon Business Systems, where she enjoyed many sweet friendships. Her favorite hobbies include needlework, music, collecting, and league bowling. The family extends warmest thanks to Bill Houghton and Dian's many friends for their generous, kind, and thoughtful acts of service. Dian is survived by brother, Bartt K. Hollingshead (Kena Lee); sister, Julye Jex (Donald); 12 nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved; and seven great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Larry J. Hollingshead. A viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A second viewing will be from 10-10:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, also at Walker Mortuary. Interment in the Spanish Fork Cemetery. Obituary courtesy of the Las Vegas Review Journal.
