My Great-Great-Aunt. Aunt Vera was born on August 10, 1918 in Guadalajara, Mexico the oldest child of Rodrigo Lorenzo and Concepcion Rodriguez Pacheco. She came to the states along with her parents and siblings in 1927 settling in New Orleans, Louisiana, than moving to Los Angeles, California in 1934. She was married to Bob Martinez from which she had 3 children Mary Lou, Roderick and Christine. She than married Charles Joseph Heueisen in 1967 in Arizona. They were married for 37 years until Wes's passing in 2005. She was a tough woman who said it like it was, but she also had a loving heart. She and Wes lived in Estero Bay, Mexico for many years until moving to Irvine, California. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 30, 2014 in Orange, California at the age of 95. She was predeceased in death by her husband Wes, daughter Mary Lou, son Roderick and a Grandson Steven. She has a Daughter Christine, 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her and will miss her terribly each and every day.
