Born in Greenup Co, Kentucky to James & Addie Ross. In 1935 she married Jake Swearengin of Greenup Co and they came to California settling in Hanford. In 1942 they moved to Martinez where Jake worked in the shipyards, and eventually Shell Chemical. Doris was a homemaker and mother. Jake died in 1953. Doris moved to Concord 12 years ago. Survived by her loving daughters, Donna Onnias of Auburn, Nancy Roberts (Jack) of Pacheco. Her daughter, Linda Beckwith, passed away Dec 2005. Grandchildren, Denise Rajotte (Andre) of Antioch, Tony Onnias of Auburn and Elisa Onnias of Auburn, great grandson, Jesse Seilhan of Antioch and son-in-law Jon Beckwith of Gilbert, Az.
Graveside services will be held on February 2, at 11 a.m. At Oakmont Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank Willow Pass Healthcare for their loving care.
